　　This morning,we got an English class by teacher Juile.she is very interesting and cute,I like the way she interact with us.

　 　Though some students were stii afraid to speak English with teacher , sometimes the atmosphere was embarrassing,I still enjoy the cluss very much.I couldn't follow the teacher all the time,but so what,got the main idea is enough.

　　The topic is history,culture,and values of the United state.Culture means different collection of language,custom,clothing,festival,art,belief and other factors.We found that the population of foreigners in US increased quickly in history,they came to this land for political freedom ,religions freedom,individual freedom;opportunity for betterment,job,land,education ,for chance to achieve their dreams;for independence and so on.Teacher showed us a moive named Far and Away which introduced people came to USA and fight for free land.It was so crazy and savage.

　　There are eight key values in USA culture,they are freedom&self-reliance,equality of opportunity&competition,material wealth&hard work,innovation&risk and strong.The America value has two sides and we can use these values in academic environment.

　　Also,If you want to be a good student,you should learn from thhese values.for example,first,"Your destiny is in your hand"——be in control,be organized,make a daily,weekly,monthly schedule,make sure what you are going to do.Second,"what is good student"——be a good student in America,you should take part in all kinds of activities and clubs to communicate with different people and learn sth,read a lot of books and write sth that your teacher can see. Remember,the busier,the better=better resume=better employability=success. Third,"heroes"are leaders who distinguish themselves stand out from the crowd.——be a risk-taker.be active in class,meet new people and share ideas with others,ask questions and answer your teacher's question to show your interested in it.

　　This time,I'm very gald and fell proud of myself.I always feared to make mistakes when speak English,this time I just said what I want to say in class and answered teacher's questions loudly.Thank for Juile's encourage and told me yes,this is very valuable and meaningful to me,it encourageed me to study English hard and be cofident to say oral English with my friends.Thank you,Juile!
